What is E.A.L.?

Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) is an experiential approach to teaching important life skills, such as leadership, communication, and teamwork - using horses as partners. It involves joining with horses in a variety of objective-based non-riding activities and problem-solving exercises. The horses’ acute awareness of their surroundings help individuals gain insight, learn new skills, and enhance self-awareness. No previous horse experience is required. EAL is based on the approach that relationships should be respectful (including the horse!). Each team member is important, has something to contribute, and can build leadership in all participants. Jacqueline Sharp and Laura Boyko are proudly Certified Equine Assisted Learning Facilitators through Dreamwinds.
